The Animal Rescue Site – Shelter Challenge

Several times a year The Animal Rescue Site hosts a Shelter Challenge. Web site visitors vote for their favorite animal shelter or rescue group and the organization(s) with the most votes are awarded grants of several thousand dollars!

The Shelter Challenge is especially interesting because you are permitted (encouraged!) to vote once each and every day that the challenge is underway rather than just once!

You can vote for us once each and every day from Wednesday, June 5th 2013 through Tuesday, June 18th 2013.

How to vote

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to vote. After the first time, voting takes just four clicks and typing a couple of words. The first time requires a couple of additional steps, but then you are all set for the rest of the challenge!

We've captured pictures of the web site so you can see what to expect and where to click. Important areas are circled in red. You can click on any of the pictures to see them at their actual size.

1. Click here to go to the Shelter Challenge site.
2. The first time you vote, you will need to fill in the search form to find us:
   1. Enter "The Cat House on the Kings" in the "Shelter Name" field.
   2. Click the Search button.
   
   
3. Click the Vote button.
   
4. To make sure it is a person who is voting, not a computer program trying to cheat, you must type in a word which has been disguised a little to make it too hard for a computer to recognize and then click the Vote button.
   
5. Finally you receive confirmation that your vote has been counted. Remember, please vote for us every day during the Shelter Challenge!
