MORE ABOUT US

The Cat House on the Kings is located on 12 acres of fenced in property facing the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.  We are open every day except major holidays, and our hours are 8-11 am & 1-4 pm by appointment only.
If you are interested in visiting, please call us at (559) 638-8696.

At this time, we are at our financial limit on how many cats and kittens we can care for. To be able to take in any more, we charge a surrender fee. This fee is: $60 up front for an unaltered, unvaccinated plus $30 per month for as long as the cat is here. If the cat is already altered and vaccinations are up to date, it's just $30 per month per cat for as long as the cat is here or up to a maximum of $2,000 per cat.  In 14 years we have rescued over 400 cats a year from the Fresno S.P.C.A. and  currently have well over 700 cats.

The cats and kittens that are brought to The Cat House are given any necessary medical treatment, spayed or neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption.   Every effort is made to provide for their comfort and well-being.

The Cat House on the Kings is not just a rescue.  We are also a lifetime sanctuary and adoption center.  We try to find the best possible homes for the cats and kittens that reside here and we never kill the cats we take in.  They stay here until they are adopted or die of old age........however long that takes.

We need help to continue providing a home for these rescued felines.  By adopting or sponsoring a cat or donating time, money or supplies........

TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!  We need donations to begin our irrigation project!
