Opal is an identical twin who is draped in an opalescent white fur coat.  When she looks in the mirror her reflection matches that of her sister Pearl.  She has bi-color eyes.  Her right eye is green and left eye is blue.  Many cultures have credited opal with supernatural powers.  The ancient Greeks believed opals gave their owners the gift of prophecy and guarded them from disease.  Europeans have long considered the gem a symbol of hope and purity.  These characteristics beautifully describe Miss Opal the kitty.  Opal has been raised with her 2 sisters, whom she is quite bonded with.  While she stands out all on her own, she might sparkle even more if adopted with one of her sisters.
