Mama Misty Blue was discovered hiding in a shed with her 5 newborn babies. She tried to fool us into believing she was a semi-feral cat, when in reality she was just very protective of her kittens and leery of strangers. Over the last month in foster care she has blossomed into a petite beauty who loves to eat (a good thing considering she is slim), rub up against her foster mama's legs, and bask in the sun shining through the windows. She's still on the shy side and prefers that you don't pick her up. She'll decide when she's ready to jump up on your lap and then prepare to remain seated until she's finished with her human petting and brushing her. She appears to be cat and dog friendly, assuming introductions are made gradually. She also appreciates a quiet home, one that provides her a safe environment where she can explore freely and decide when she's ready to be loved on. Misty Blue is estimated to be no more than 2 years old, so the lucky family who adopts her can marvel over her sky blue eyes for many years to come.
