A family of cats living on the roof of Wolfe Manor was rescued just in time before the haunted house’s demolition.

A mother cat and two calico kittens were taken in by The Cat House on the Kings. The cat sanctuary and adoption center received a number of calls and emails from the public asking them to save the cats from the house.

Wolfe Manor, long reputed as being haunted, is on track to be demolished by the city of Clovis because the house is deemed dangerous and a nuisance. Asbestos removal at the house, built in 1922, has been completed and demolition is about to begin
