Meet Cookie

Cookie is still just a baby herself, yet she was left to raise four kittens on her own. Thankfully, she was taken in by a loving foster mom who showed her what safety, comfort, and kindness feel like. Thanks to her devotion, Cookie's babies have grown into sweet, beautiful cats and are now finding homes of their own.

Now it's Cookie's turn.

Cookie is a gentle, protective mama who deserves a forever home where she can finally focus on being herself instead of caring for everyone else. She can be shy and nervous when faced with new environments and unfamiliar people, so she will need a patient family willing to give her time to adjust at her own pace.

While she may not fully understand affection yet, it's clear that she wants to. Cookie enjoys soft, gentle pets, loves head scratches, and will happily rub against your legs for attention. She's not a fan of being picked up and carried around, but she shows her trust in quieter ways. Every now and then, you'll even hear her sweet purr.

Cookie seems to be discovering what it means to be loved, and she's looking for someone who will help her continue that journey. With patience, understanding, and a calm home, this young mama will have the chance to learn who she is now that her babies are grown.
