Our Spring Open House for 2012 was the first Saturday in May (May 5) and it was a glorious and sunny Saturday on our 12 acre grounds on the beautiful Kings River! The hundreds of guests in attendance enjoyed guided tours, tasty food and beverages, wonderful music, an exciting silent auction (with dozens and dozens of items ~ including some wonderful handcrafted items from well-known artists and artisans) as well as the Litter-Lifter Poop Scooping Contest! And, of course, there were hundreds of friendly, furry-purry felines lounging, relaxing, seeking snuggles and cuddles (and stealing the occasional unwatched hot dog!)

We hold two Open Houses every year: the first Saturday in May and the last Saturday in October and we get people choosing to visit us from all over the state of California as well as out of state! It really is a chance to experience how wonderful it is at The Cat House on the Kings!
