We attended the World Cat Day special event at Storyland in Roeding Park, Fresno, CA on Sunday Oct. 16th with the very beautiful Sage, who even wore a dress for the event and she was very sweet to all of the wonderful visiting families etc.

Cindy Lee, one of our volunteers, is the Operations Manager at Storyland and she set us up to be featured at the event. We provided Cat House coloring pages from our coloring book and we read our 500 Cats storybook to the visiting children. The families really enjoyed their time visiting with Sage, hearing the 500 Cats story, and coloring our Cat House color page. For those with kitties they received a goody bag to take home to them. One of the Storyland team members even crocheted many cat faces as a treasure hunt for the kids to search for all around the park, with a tag attached, I need a home! We are very grateful to Cindy Lee and all of the Storyland Team for sharing stories, information and celebration of cats on World Cat Day.
